How often do we do this...we use our time with Jesus as time for what we want and blocking Him out. The real blessing of prayer is when we take the time and let God speak and hear what He has for us, not what we have for Him.

Guys Bible Study I wanna thank all the guys that have come out to the 2 Bible studies that we have had. I asked all the guys that did come out if we wanted to keep this going throughout the year and the concensus said...yes...so what we are going to do is continue it. We will have each study on the last friday of each month for as long as people keep coming out. I also have received some information from some people that want to come but can't because we are a "guys" bible study and they are girls, so I am thinking about opening it up to the ladies. Guys any feedback would be great; I don't see why it would be a problem. Anyway we are probably going to have it at the same place this next time that we have been doing it...info below...if it changes i will let you know...

Youth is the next generation. At New Hope we believe that investing in the youth is one of the main priorities in the church.
Teens is the place where you can come worship God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength and also learn about the Word in a teenager-friendly environment.
We meet every Wednesday night at 7pm in th e Activities Room.
Hey Teen, if you can play an instrument or sing show up on Wednesday night at 6:30pm in the activities room (big room through the fellowship hall) and join the teen worship band. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to praise God with the talents they have.
